Pro Meetings!

If you aren’t familiar, we encourage our Protectosaurs to meet up as a group once a week to discuss issues on the island and other items of interest. However, the meetings aren’t closed off to only Pros – they are more like Town Hall style meetings for everyone to discuss island business. Everyone has an equal stake in Webosaurs and we would love to hear what is on your mind. Topics that are on the agenda for this week:

Trivia Party With Pterry!

Hey gang, this is not exactly how he pictured it, but the idea for our Friday Party this week comes by way of Webosaurs very own Doggy, it’s a Triva Party with Pterry! Pterry threw a Mystery Party in Sub Alpine Forest a few weeks ago, he had dinos trying to figure out what was going on with the monster he had captured there and then had a blast asking trivia questions and giving out coin codes for correct answers. Well, Pterry has been stockpiling trivia questions since then, he’s got questions about feasting, he’s got questions about dinosaurs, he’s got questions about Webosaurs, but what’s even better is he’s going to allow you to post categories that you’d like him to ask questions about as comments on this blog post. So post categories that you’d like to see as trivia questions and come on down to the Voodoo Hideaway at a special early time at 12 WST for an awesome Trivia Party on Friday! Remember to post what types of questions you’d like to see and to sign up for one or both of the cool contests going on on the Blog. The Cave Contest ends tomorrow and the Comic Contest runs through Friday. See ya soon!

Blogosaur Meetings!

Hey gang, great ideas are always swirling around Webosaurs and we try to implement all of the best ones! As you may know Protectosaurs and dinos that are interested in joining the Protectosaurs Program meet twice every Tuesday to discuss Island issues and announce new members. I’m happy to announce that we are now going to have similarly styled meetings on Fridays for blogosaurs and dinos that are interested in starting their own blogs or becoming authors. So if you’re available and interested come on out to our new Blogosaur Meetings this Friday! w00t!

Webosaurs Badges are here! Webosaurs Badges are a very cool new way to explore Webosaurs Island. I won’t give away too much and let you discover the Badge System for yourself, but as you go around the Island and achieve certain tasks, like farting a WHOLE lot or being REALLY good at Webosaurs Games, different Badges will unlock and display themselves on your Player Card.

Also you can check out the Badges you’ve already unlocked and what you’re yet to achieve by going to the Badges Tab on your Player Profile. Can you be the first one to unlock all of the Badges? Can you figure out what you have to do to unlock each one? What are you waiting for? Make your way around Webosaurs Island and get to unlocking your Badges NOW!

Hey Webo-crew! As you may have noticed there has recently been an update on Webosaurs Island! Wearable Items, New Skeleton Fossil Magic and Badges are all now active, so if you haven’t checked them out you’d better get over to Webosaurs and play with the latest! To celebrate these awesome Wearable Items, we’re going to be having a Webosaurs Costume Party this Sunday at 10:00 am WST. Even if you don’t have any Wearable Items you can still dress up in a wacky combination of armor, but I do expect to see a large number of capes, mohawks, masks and kicks making their way around the party. I can’t wait to see how we all decide to dress-up, I just hope I can recognize you all! Don’t forget that we’re still not sure what type of party we’re going to have on Friday, currently Findmeosaur Party is in the lead, but there’s still time to vote! I can’t wait for the weekend! WOOT!

Hey gang, what a wild and long weekend we had on Webosaurs Island! In case you missed it we had three outrageous and fun-filled parties this weekend. Friday, our members-only Lost Items Party in the Bluggin’ Beach Bunker was a hit! Pterry hosted a game of trivia and we gave out past holiday items. Almost everyone got to take home a special something!

Saturday, Stretch and Horns hosted an awesome Karaoke party in the Giant Umbrella. I was a little worried there weren’t going to be many dinos there because the Giant Umbrella is a little tough to find in the Understory Layer, but it was PACKED. Dinos had a blast singing their favorite songs and even our old pal REX showed up to sing a couple of hits. Everything was cool and easy until someone opened a can of beans and a deathly cloud of toxic gas cleared the room. SICK.

Sunday was the most outrageous and chaotic day yet. A bunch of dinos gathered on Webo Ridge ready to do battle in an epic Snowball Skirmish Tournament, but due to the massive number of dinos and some issues with the game we were forced to throw a Skirmish Party instead! Luckily, everyone who competed will now be taking home two awesome items. I’m looking forward to a great week on Webosaurs Island, we’ve already got TONS of contestants entered in our Extreme Weather Cave Contest, but don’t worry there’s still time to sign up if you haven’t. We’re going to have a great weekend next weekend too and one cool part of it is going to be a Player’s Choice Party, so stay tuned to the Webosaurs Blog for a poll to vote on your favorite party ideas. Also, I hope to post submissions from our Blog Entry Contest this week! Keep Bluggin’ kids!

Members Only – Lost Items Party – Friday

Hey gang,

We’re going to have a very special lost and found party on Friday. Been bugging Mio about and item for weeks? Missed a party with a special giveaway that you really want? Does Rex owe you an item from months ago? Whatever the reason, come on over to the Bluggin’ Beach Bunker this Friday and get everything you’ve been missing for your cave.

I’ll be there giving away items that I owe everyone and then we’ll have a very special guest host, our very own Pterry playing Webosaurs Trivia for special items that you might have missed out on. This is a great opportunity for all members to get some special items that they’ve always wanted and if we have time after trivia we’ll get out and parade around the island and challenge Pterry to some games on an all-island games tour! How to play a Spots v Stripes game on Webosaurs and in the real world

Yesterday saw the launch of our Spots v Stripes campaign and the scores couldn't be much closer

The way to play a Spots v Stripes game are the same in the real world and on Webosaurs.

1. Find someone from the opposite team
2. Decide on a game
3. Agree on how many points the game is worth.
4. Get playing!
5. Leave a comment on the blog or find me on Webosaurs and tell me how many points were won for the winning team from your game.
